***DISCONTINUED*** Single-Serve ReCUPs
The way we see it, the Keurig machine has been an environmental disaster from the beginning. (FYI, even the guy who invented the Keurig machine agrees!) Billions of non-recyclable K-cups are added to the waste stream annually, making a mockery of corporate claims of “sustainability.” After a decade of hammering Keurig and Green Mountain to go recyclable, we decided to show ’em the way. We created the FIRST recyclable “K-cup” and called them “ReCUPs”. That was July 2013.
Fast forward to March 2018.
We feel strongly that when we introduced this product to the market that we were paving the way for higher standards when it came to large coffee companies. We are now seeing – FINALLY (5 years later) – coffee companies that are making their K-cups recyclable. Mission accomplished! And with that, we are discontinuing our ReCUP line.
While we understand that consumers enjoy the ease of ReCUPS, we feel that adding to the market is no longer necessary. We encourage our ReCUP users and all K-cup users to try out the Ekobrew Reusable Filter. It’s a great alternative that makes a great, fresh cup of coffee! It’s our newest way to invite you to join us in the movement to #KilltheKCup.
As always, we thank our customers for their continued support, and remember to #drinkdeep!
