We're often asked how best to store coffee, so here is a great airtight container that we recommend. It vacuum seals itself, and is impossible to open without releasing that seal (read: keeps it FRESH). It easily fits a pound of your favorite Dean's Beans Organic coffee!

You can hear the vacuum

Just received this 5 days back. No odors-thank the stars. So many other national brands have a strong chemical odor that doesn't dissipate for a long time. I hand washed the container and lid in warm, non-toxic dish detergent and let it air dry for 2 days (my preferred method for all canisters). The container comfortably accommodated the 16oz Dean's Beans Espresso Italian Roast coarsely ground beans, with room to spare. The lid is easy to put on, simple small button to assist the vacuum function. You will hear the seal and lock. It's definitely airtight. LOVE the canister and will be ordering more can, LOVE Dean's Beans.
