Announcing the Dean's Beans Javatrekker Tours travel series!
Over the years, many Dean's Beans customers have asked us to lead tours to the coffeelands to see where our coffee comes from and meet the farmers who grow it. Well, we're doing it! This July 3rd-10th, we invite you to join us on our first ever Javatrekker Tours trip to the Oro Verde Cooperative in Lamas, Perú (map). We have worked with Oro Verde for years and are excited to partner with them on this first of our Javatrekker Tours series.
You'll spend a week Javatrekking in Peru with two trip leaders from Dean's Beans and:
- learn about coffee and cocoa production
- do official coffee and chocolate tastings (just because it's 'official' doesn't mean it can't be delicious!)
- meet with farmers
- bathe under waterfalls, eat fresh fruit and great local food
- learn and share with the people that produce our favorite beverage in one of the most bio-diverse places on earth
Our goal for this trip is to create a deep connection between coffee growers and coffee drinkers, and there's no better way than to go to the source.
This trip will fill up fast and spots are on a first-come, first-serve basis. To learn more, you can review this FAQ document. If you're thinking 'there's no way I'm going to miss out on this!' and you don't want to waste any time, fill out this Participant Information Form and you'll be on your way! If you can't make this trip, be on the lookout for other upcoming adventures to the coffeelands with Dean's Beans on our Javatrekker Tours series.
