We have just received a new shipment of Haitian coffee from the wonderful Just Haiti project we have teamed up with. The first five hundred pounds we roasted went fast (thanks to you!). Our farmer partners at Association of Producers of Coffee in Carcasse (APCC) used the money raised to build a new seedling nursery! They planted an astounding 20,000 seedling (and hope that 15,000 will survive).
This is an important step in both expanding production and increasing quality of the beans. The money from the sale of this new crop will fund desperately needed reforestation in the Central Plateau.
