Meet Guatemalan Cafe Maravillas a small, limited-edition lot grown by farmer Miguel Angel Herrera in the small community of Canton Maravillas. This is our first direct purchase of coffee grown by him, and we are so excited to share it with you!
Back in January, our team traveled to Guatemala to visit farms and deepen our partnerships. On that trip, we spent the night in the village of Canton Maravillas. We visited Miguel Angel's home, where he shared this coffee with the team, explaining his latest experiment: a honey process method that's part science, part art. This approach leaves some of the coffee's natural sweetness on the bean during drying, creating a rich, complex flavor. Cafe Maravillas is a light roast with flavors of honey, blackberry and milk chocolate. We hope you enjoy it while supplies last!
