Love this coffee. Love that it is whole beans that i cam grind at home. Love the ease of going to pick it up at the company, which smells amazing.

A new customer, ordered a bag of Ring of Fire because several websites rated it very highly. I made 3 drip pots of coffee per my usual morning routine and I was underwhelmed. I found the coffee to be more bitter even acid than I expected as well as having little body compared to other coffees I drink. It leaves a distinct aftertaste in my mouth that lingers for hours. I experimented with the grind and still found it lacking, especially at $21/pound. To be sure I made a Chemex pour over 2x per the instructions on the website and found it to be the same i.e. lacking compared to my other coffees. Koffee Kult Dark Roast is my favorite. While I have been drinking coffee for 55 years, I can say that it is only in the last 5-7 years that I became more deeply interested in the “art” of coffee. Perhaps my taste buds are different, perhaps I got a bad batch, or perhaps I don’t yet truly understand good coffee but it is unlikely that I will order more. YMMV, good luck.

I've been using this blend to make cold brew for a few weeks now. It's perfect and not fair to the other blends I want to try - I keep ordering this everytime!

I picked up a bag of Ring of Fire when our local farms offered food delivery at the beginning of Covid shutdowns. It is by far the best coffee I’ve ever had. I use it to make espresso for an Americano each morning. Dark and smoky and not at all harsh on my tummy. I’m disappointed when I buy coffee out because it’s never as good as what I make at home using these beans.

I've been buying from Dean's Beans for a few years and this is hand's down the best coffee I've ever had. Their description is spot on. On some sips I notice the smokiness; on others, I notice the hint of sweetness. I always kick myself when I buy a $6 coffee from some snooty shop. It's never even close to as good and I use a $15 Black & Decker pot.

Usually drink Peet’s Major Dickason’s and bought this on a whim. Outstanding coffee. Dark, full flavor. Not bitter at all. Buying more for me, friends, and family.

I have been drinking this for about 5 months now. It makes the best espresso shot I have ever had. It stands up perfectly to the foamed milk in a Cappuccino. It is a robust dark blend without the acidity of other dark roast coffees I have tried. Cu-do's to Deans Beans. I have tried several of your varieties. they are all good, but Ring Of Fire is outstanding.

I only started drinking coffee about 4 years ago but this is my absolute favorite. I'm not sure what makes it so amazing, but whenever we order coffee, I always make sure to grab a big bag. We have gotten many compliments on this coffee and are often asked by guests where we get it. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We use it to make espressos. It is rich, dark, creamy, smokey, smooth and not acidic. The coffee equivalent of the best dark chocolate.

Full bodied & yes, smoky. It can be brewed to different strengths without losing its intrinsic qualities. A magnificent morning cup. Additionally, we are so fortunate to have Dean's down the road from us. A visit to the friendly & aromatic atmosphere of the this business is well worth it.
