When we talk about connection at Dean’s Beans, we don’t just mean the bonds we share with the farmers who grow your coffee in 11 countries around the world, we mean everyone who helps make those connections possible. Every pound of coffee represents farmers tending their land, communities supporting one another, and partners who help bring that hard work safely home.
This week, as the government shutdown continues, we’re delivering coffee to air traffic controllers (just like we did during the 35-day shutdown back in 2018). During the 2 shutdown, we saw firsthand how a small act of care brightened a difficult moment and how a simple gesture of appreciation can go a long way. So we’re doing it again, because showing up for each other never goes out of style. We visited Bradley airport last Friday and Logan International airport TODAY to spread the coffee love to over 200 government employees working without pay, and to fuel them for their shifts.
These dedicated professionals work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that our skies remain safe for everyone, from travelers heading off on vacation or business trips, to our own team when we fly to visit our farmer partners around the world.
Sharing Dean’s Beans coffee is our way of saying THANK YOU — for the essential and unseen work that keeps air travel safe, for the systems that connect communities across continents, and for the spirit of dedication and service that makes air traffic controllers so special.
We’re all part of one big, interconnected story - from the farmers who cultivate coffee beans, to the pilots and controllers who guide us safely through the air, to the millions of people who brew coffee each morning, And that’s something worth celebrating, especially in challenging times.
