They say this is the original Bodum Chambord French Press ... but it sure looks like a Deluxe version to us! This 8-cup (34-ounce) version has an updated locking lid that allows for a more stable and even plunge. The new design also has an open/close spout to prevent spillage and to help retain heat. For those who have also experienced a broken glass pitcher, you will appreciate the full bottom coverage for added stability and glass protection. We have found this is a great update to the classic French Press that has stood the test of time.
