Our personal favorite for more than a decade!

My husband and I have been ordering from Deans Beans since 2013 and our favorite coffee flavor has been Ethiopia Oromia from day one. We have had quite a few different blends and enjoyed them all but not as much as we do Ethiopia Oromia. The beans are a beautiful dark brown with an oily sheen to them and they give off a wonderfully fragrant aroma every time you open the bag. The taste is just as described: Floral, fruity and smokey all at the same time. I drink coffee everyday and it has always been Deans Beans...we even take it with us on vacations!

Dark and fascinating - spearmint, toasted almonds, tobacco and prune juice

This is my first time buying Dean’s Beans and wow did it not disappoint! This is definitely for dark roast lovers. It’s a little on the heavy side and really lingers on your palate, but not in a bad way. I get mostly toasted almonds, tobacco, and prune juice… a beautiful and intoxicating brew. What is most fascinating is the initial aroma after brewing of spearmint. I’ve never noticed that in a coffee before but it’s really interesting and inviting. May become my regular bean, but now I want to try some of their other roasts! Also major points for freshness! (Aeropress upright, 23 on Comandante, 175 F, 16 g, ~250 ml.)

Favorite coffee, hands down

This is our favorite coffee, hands down. We discovered it as a bulk purchasing option at a small retailer (the Millstone Market) in Sunderland, MA. The beans are dark and very oily, and the aroma and flavor are superb. This coffee is smooth, rich, fruity, and floral, with an excellent body. Drinking it in the morning feels like a treat - with the extra bonus that not only is the company ecologically friendly and fair trade certified, but the roaster is local! Now I stop and purchase a bag every time I drive through Sunderland. Thanks, Dean's Beans!

Startling Smooth

I've been a Dean's Beans customer for many years & have tried quite a few different blends. "Ethiopian Oromia" has just become this household's morning choice. While brewing in a Chemex, the aroma is strong & smoky filling the entire kitchen with anticipation. The flavors do not disappoint. One gets a full bodied, floral, very smooth, & low acid cup of coffee. Plus, purchasing this blend supports a good many fine causes. Thanks once more Dean's for providing such a fine product that nurtures others. Bravo!

my mom said the best she's ever had

And she's 76 and loves coffee. It's up there for me too. Delicious, and tastes like berries.
