It has a nice flavor when brewed as regular coffee.

I don't have an expresso maker so it was poured through a stainless steel filter/funnel. The taste was great as are most of Dean's coffees. I roasted the beans to the second crack in an air popper. As you probably guessed, I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but I can tell if the coffee is good. I can't say how it tastes as expresso, but I make very strong coffee.
