This Coffee's Story

Don’t let the name scare you off (well… maybe
just a little). This bold blend was first roasted as a fundraiser for the
Rattlesnake Gutter Trust, protecting the wild beauty of Leverett,
Massachusetts. An area that, yes, really does have rattlesnakes slithering
around!

Strong, straightforward, and a little
dangerous if you underestimate it, this coffee is still brewed daily at the
Leverett Co-op.

It’s got the bite to wake you up, the
body to keep you going, and the heart of a brew that gives back to the
community. Careful, though! One sip and you might get rattled.
