This blend has a story, like most of our
coffees do. Years ago, word got around that there was a certain California
coffee making waves with their dark, oily roast. Tasty, sure, but a bit on the
bitter side. So we thought, why not make our own version? Something bold and
deep, but smooth enough to actually enjoy cup after cup.
So we rolled up our sleeves, fired up the
roaster, and came up with this beauty: dark, rich, and balanced, with a bite
that’s more playful than punishing. Think of it as a shark that’s here for the
coffee, not the carnage.
It’s got that West Coast confidence, but
with the Dean’s Beans twist: organic, fair trade, and roasted with heart.
