Without literacy, many children would remain trapped in the poverty of small-scale coffee farming. The Unseen Women of Coffee lit a spark of change for the youth. With Dean's Beans help, the community was able to introduce permanent libraries to their community. With a flourishing passion for literacy, children are giving back, teaching others to read too.

The youth is leading the way in Guatemala! With support from the Asobagri Cooperative, teens are developing crucial skills for a bright future. Development programs such as these Agroforestry and Entrepreneurship programs address and support issues the communities care about.
Change is Brewing in East Timor
Can you imagine a school with no running water? This is the unfortunate reality for children in East Timor. With a plan and estimate for success, Dean's Beans will be funding the solution. A library with furniture and books, along with a water system for drinking, toilets, and hand washing are the next steps to making a difference.
